OraVet

OraVet is a gel that is applied to the junction of the teeth and gums on a weekly basis. This forms a protective barrier that prevents tartar from working under the gum line. It is quick and easy to do and very effective. The manufacturer of OraVet makes the claim that it takes the place of brushing, however we feel that the combination of brushing and using OraVet works the best. Brushing does not remove the OraVet gel. Each box of OraVet comes with 8 packets for 8 weeks of treatment. We have found that for most pets there is enough gel in the packet to use twice, giving 16 weeks of treatments.
